Looking ahead
Try to look at least 20 seconds ahead if visibility allows so that you can work out what is going to happen before you get there. Have an action plan about 8 seconds away, ready to implement as you get closer. Look 5 cars ahead at least in traffic. On fast roads scan ahead as far as you can see.
